About Open Garden Squares Weekend

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I book for balloted gardens?

We regret that the ballots have now closed.

I have bought a ticket. How do I obtain a guidebook?

Guidebooks will be available in the participating gardens over the weekend. You can start planning your weekend with the aid of this web site.

How do I find out about activities happening in different gardens?

There are summaries of gardens' activities in each area. Printed versions of these are also available in gardens. In addition, each garden's web page shows the activities it is planning.

Why haven't I received my ticket yet?

Your ticket is an electronic one and will have been emailed to your supplied email address. Please check your 'junk items' in case it has ended up there. If you still can't find it, please email support@eventcube.io

Whom can I email with queries about tickets?

With any queries relating to your tickets, please do email support@eventcube.io or tickets@londongardenstrust.org

If I decide not to go to Open Garden Squares Weekend, can I get my money back?

Sorry - tickets are non-refundable as is highlighted in our terms and conditions when purchasing tickets.

Is there a reduction for senior citizens or students?

The only reductions are for students (with NUS/student ID) and for young persons (12-18 years). These tickets can only be booked on line.

Is there a reduction for children?

Children under 12 are free, but will still require a ticket ordered online in advance or from one of the gardens on the weekend.

Is there a reduction for disabled visitors?

No, but one carer/companion may accompany a visitor with disabilities free of charge to help and share their enjoyment of their visit. Please do email tickets@londongardenstrust.org and we will issue the free ticket.

Can I buy Sunday-only tickets in advance?

Sunday-only tickets will become available on line from 4pm on Saturday 9 June, and can be bought from gardens on Sunday.

All my tickets have the same name - is this a problem?

No: we do not check the name of each party member.

Charitable Donations Welcomed

Open Garden Squares Weekend is organised by the London Parks & Gardens Trust.

The London Parks and Gardens Trust (LPGT) is a registered charity that relies on volunteers and donations. It costs over £50,000 for us to deliver Open Garden Squares Weekend each year and the event is the main fundraiser for our charity. The rest of the year, we champion historic green spaces in the planning process, seeking to stop inappropriate development and encourage more Londoners to value their parks and gardens. We welcome donations to help our cause.

The event would also not be possible without the generous support of our many volunteers and the fabulous gardens that take part and open their gates for us each year.

London Parks & Gardens Trust Membership
If you become a member of the London Parks & Gardens Trust, your Open Gardens Squares Weekend ticket is included in your membership package. You can find out more about Trust membership or join on line.
