Garden Activities - Notting Hill + North Kensington

Kensington Nursing Home (BUPA) (KC16)

Tea and coffee. Plant sale.

Ladbroke Square Garden (KC18)

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution will provide teas. Performance by Treblemakers a cappella group, at 4pm, with a repertoire spanning Mozart, barbershop in the 1950s, the Beatles, Queen and Coldplay.

Leinster Square Gardens (WM12)

Singer-Songwriter, and Leinster Square resident, Dik Cadbury will perform a selection of songs including original material and well-known favourites.  Dik will be singing and playing acoustic guitar in the garden from 2.30-4.30pm.

Museum of Brands (KC21)

The Museum of Brands explores how brands shape - and are shaped by - people, culture and society. Exhibits showcase historic and contemporary household packaging, toys, magazines, newspapers, technology, travel, fashion and design, a picture emerges, creating a visually stimulating and thought-provoking experience. For many it’s an emotional and nostalgic reunion with their past.

A special Botanical Quiz exploring the collection is available to Open Garden Squares Weekend visitors. There is a small admission charge to enter the Museum.

Norland Square (KC23)

Hot and cold drinks. Cakes and biscuits.

Pembridge Square (KC25)

Children's play area with swings and a hornbeam maze.

Phoenix Farm and Learning Zone (HF4)

Plant sale. Refreshments.



Rosmead Garden (KC27)

The Pop Up Tea Room is held to celebrate Garden Squares Open Day in the private garden in Rosmead Garden from 12noon to 5pm.

Enjoy a traditional English tea with a large selection of home-made sandwiches and home-baked cakes, served on fine china.

Run by local residents, all proceeds go to Teach2Teach International, a charity which works to educate children in some of the world's poorest communities.  

Visitors are invited to donate generously.

Royal Crescent Gardens (KC28)

Croquet and Cocktails! For the second year running, we are delighted to be hosting Croquet and Cocktails in the garden for both Saturday and Sunday, 11am-5pm. Come and try your hand at some croquet with the experts - no experience needed - while enjoying a Pimms or other themed cocktail. The cocktails on offer will be: Gin Basil Smash, Pimms, Mojito and Raspberry Margarita. Beer, prosecco, wine and softs will also available.

St Quintin Community Kitchen Garden (KC30)

Plants and home-made cakes for sale. Tea and coffee. Artworks by resident artists Denis Free and Donal Ryan.

West London Bowling Club (KC33)

Indoor or outdoor space to enjoy tea, coffee and cakes; a full bar is provided serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
