The Garden

The Royal Horticultural Society and London in Bloom awarded this garden a Level 5 Outstanding 'It's Your Neighbourhood Award' for the second year running in 2019. The Grade II Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation aims to enhance biodiversity in the City. Features include a meadow, plantings for pollinators, a newly-created fernery, two ponds, native species hedges, plants, shrubs and trees plus potting-up and compost areas. It has a bird hide, bee/bird boxes, feeders and insect log piles and new wooden steps provide another entrance. Weekly wildlife sightings are reported to the British Trust for Ornithology and shared with Greater London Green Information.
