The Garden

This community garden provides social and horticultural therapy, training and volunteering opportunities for people experiencing ill health or disadvantage due to their age, health or disability. The garden, which received the Green Flag Community Award (London in Bloom) and is a Bees Needs Winner 2019. also offers gardening and outreach services to day centres and organisations. There are herbaceous borders, herb and sensory area, vegetable garden, woodland with training apiary, wildlife ponds, small urban meadows and a glasshouse. Garden and estates initiatives are all maintained by volunteers and those benefitting from the services offered. Highlights include the ‘Wish You Well’ area, Silent Space zone and apiary.
