On August 15, 2023, five young boys went missing from Jalisco, Mexico. All the boys were between 19 to 22 and went missing from Jalisco, Mexico. These young boys were last seen on the night of August 11, 2023.
Though the boys were already missing, a video went Viral On Reddit on the internet in which a young man tried to save his life from the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG). Since the video went viral, The Jalisco Police Department started its search operation for this group of young men.
When police started their operation, they found a burned vehicle with a human. According to authorities, the belongings found on the crime scene belonged to one of the young boys from the group whose video went viral on Telegram or other social media platforms.
Lagos de Moreno Incident came into focus soon after the video went viral, and on the same day, a Twitter user, porktendencia, posted various pictures of the burned car. These pictures on Twitter have gained almost 550 likes with 39 retweets on the same day.
The video went with a text featuring “Puro MZ,” on it. According to the locals and news, it to as El Mayo Zambada. El Mayo Zambada is the leader of the Sinaloa drug cartel.
When the video went viral on Tiktok, police found a burned vehicle with the human body remains on August 15 2023. On the same day, the relatives of these disappeared boys showed a video in which five people who were beaten and gagged appeared. According to the families and relatives, the men shown in the video are the same who were missing.
